The overall focus of the Neighborhood Coordinator organization effort is to use our Tea Party resources to "drill down" into our local communities.  A PART of the reason for this "drill down" effort is to spread the word about the Common Sense Citizens' Network--but that is ONLY a part of it.

Going forward, it will be the responsibility of the Neighborhood Coordinators (that's us) to build the local neighborhood organizations which will ultimately serve as the primary means by which we will hold our public servants' feet to the fire.

Our ultimate goal is to build an organizing committee in every precinct in our nation in which significant numbers of common sense citizens can be found.  Realization of that goal is a ways off yet, but WE WILL GET THERE if we work together.

PHASE I:

We have BEGUN this effort by organizing according to zip codes.  The reason for this is very simple: everyone knows his or her zip code.  Using the zip code information that we have collected from our fellow citizens, we put the neighbors in each zip code in contact with one another.  We then encourage the members in each zip code group to begin communicating with one another and begin discussing how to organize their geographic area(s) to identify the common sense citizens in those neighborhoods and get them engaged.

OUR ROLE:

Along the way, your fellow coordinators will be here as resources to you, but the determination of WHAT is done and HOW it will be done will be up to you and the citizens in your neighborhoods.   The Tea Party movement is not about 'leaders' telling 'members' what to do or how to do it.  It is about giving people the tools, the training and the resources to ORGANIZE THEMSELVES.

If the above sounds good to you, you are invited to JOIN US.

Hi Lori,
I believe they are going to coordinate zip codes as closely as possible together and send us the inof on it. Then, we will get together as groups to start our canvassing the neighborhood to pass out info. What part of town do you live in? Ms. Lee Martin

My husband, Robert Alexander, and I are pumped to start getting this grassroots organization going...we need to bring back fiscal sanity to the country and curtailthe galloping verge to the Left that's going on.

Our Constitution is being systematically destroyed. I have had enough!

While the mechanics of our political system safe gaurded our rights as they were intended to do, they have become compromised to the point where we the people are being engaged to preserve and protect the Constitution which has protected us for so long. For our children's children we must act.

Why don't we meet at a 'Zip Code Home' initially and save money? Otherwise, is there not a pro-Tea Party restauranteur who we could patronize?

It really feels good to hear from real patriots, who love Freedom and understand the threat the Socialists have become. I have never felt more "American". Now I finally understand my father's generation. Let's get to work. The socialists are on the move and we need to stop them before all our liberties are gone. It is High-Time the American People reclaim their government.

by Lisa Davis  2009-07-19 10:32:52
Hi Sherryann...I'm in the Little Elm area! Actually, Oak Point.
by Cindy  2009-07-19 14:56:45
Sherryann, I'm not sure how we connect and am hesitant to list my home or give out my email or phone number because of all the nuts out there. The leader of this organization should have suggestions so we all can meet in a safe manner. I live in Flower Mound and have been very active for 4 years as a gray haired granny activist for the first time in my life. My husband is supportive and accompanies me as often as he is able due to job priorities. Do you have a suggestion for a meeting time and place since we do live that far apart?

Thanks for the good information. I'm on board and will help as much as I am able.

I participated in the protest outside Hutchison's office Friday even though I got lost and was late. I received an email from Grassfire.org and they are having a protest march for Sept. 12 in Washington, D.C. and they have a list of price discounts for hotels if anyone from the Dallas Tea Party is interested in attending.

Yo fellow patriots. Let's repossess this country from the collection of narrow self interested groups who have banded together to buy votes and power with our and our children's property. Yall there? Our founding parents considered "leveling" ungodly, unjust, and unlawful.
What's next?
