The overall focus of the Neighborhood Coordinator organization effort is to use our Tea Party resources to "drill down" into our local communities. A PART of the reason for this "drill down" effort is to spread the word about the Common Sense Citizens' Network--but that is ONLY a part of it.
Going forward, it will be the responsibility of the Neighborhood Coordinators (that's us) to build the local neighborhood organizations which will ultimately serve as the primary means by which we will hold our public servants' feet to the fire.
Our ultimate goal is to build an organizing committee in every precinct in our nation in which significant numbers of common sense citizens can be found. Realization of that goal is a ways off yet, but WE WILL GET THERE if we work together.
PHASE I:
We have BEGUN this effort by organizing according to zip codes. The reason for this is very simple: everyone knows his or her zip code. Using the zip code information that we have collected from our fellow citizens, we put the neighbors in each zip code in contact with one another. We then encourage the members in each zip code group to begin communicating with one another and begin discussing how to organize their geographic area(s) to identify the common sense citizens in those neighborhoods and get them engaged.
OUR ROLE:
Along the way, your fellow coordinators will be here as resources to you, but the determination of WHAT is done and HOW it will be done will be up to you and the citizens in your neighborhoods. The Tea Party movement is not about 'leaders' telling 'members' what to do or how to do it. It is about giving people the tools, the training and the resources to ORGANIZE THEMSELVES.
If the above sounds good to you, you are invited to JOIN US.

I believe they are going to coordinate zip codes as closely as possible together and send us the inof on it. Then, we will get together as groups to start our canvassing the neighborhood to pass out info. What part of town do you live in? Ms. Lee Martin
